Ozine Fest Anime Figure Special

Last December 28-29, 2011, Otakuzine Anime Magazine, the largest anime magazine in the Philippines held an event titled Ozine Fest Anime Figure Special. The said event showcased the following attractions: Toy Display, Auction, Gundam Exhibit and Buy & Sell of Anime Figures. But what makes this event special is the arrival of the Cosplay Queen of the Philippines herself, Ms. Alodia Gosiengfiao. The crowd really had a blast when Ms. Alodia entered and had a picture-taking event which lasted for about 2 hours. I, also had a picture with her that is why being staff of this event is truly worth it. 

Again, thank you for all the attendees and all who supported our event. Special thanks to Paolo Ortiz and Jenalyn Juancito for attending the event. For Kei Landicho, Mocha Sia and Jhet Ang for the pictures and other stuffs.

10 Things I Learned From Kimi ni Todoke

These are 10 things that I have learned from Kimi ni Todoke, a heartwarming story about a shy, not-too-good-around-people girl named Sawako Kuronuma and the process of her breaking out of her shell.

1. Be honest to yourself.

2. Speak your truth.

3. Acknowledge and express your true feelings.

4. Don't ever let the fear of getting rejected or hurt stop you from loving.

5. Know that you deserve to be happy.

6. Only you have the power to change your life.

7. Be happy in whatever you are doing and give thanks from each experience.

8. Have faith in your friends.

9. Keep on being the best you can be.

10. Enjoy each moment and smile. :)

I guess these are the reasons why this anime is such a hit. I'm glad to say that I really liked this anime from the beginning up to the end of the series. Epic!

Sudden Turn of Events...Thank God!!

Last Thursday, December 22, 2011, my last day of work at Accenture has officially ended. I tried to treat my friends and colleagues to a sumptuous meal to celebrate my "freedom" at Accenture when this tragic event started. My friend (and former love) Vanessa suffered from her illness (will not discuss it any further) and she started to cry because of severe pain she is having. Arnel and I took her to The Medical City in Ortigas to have her checked up and thank God, nothing bad happens. After 3 hours, we were discharged at the hospital. 

Thank you God and nothing serious happened to her. It was my first time to rush someone to the hospital that I didn't know what to do. Thank you God. I will never forget this moment.

Vanessa, have time to relax and please, take a good care of your self. I will always be here for you when you need me.
